Pediatrics to Geriatrics, Health and Harmony Throughout Their Lives

I provide alternative veterinary modalities such as acupuncture, Chinese herbs, food therapy, and dietary supplements for clients who reside in El Paso, Las Cruces, and surrounding areas. Although acupuncture is most often associated with pain management, it has been found to be helpful in addressing a multitude of medical conditions including liver disease, seizures, and gastrointestinal diseases. It is also helpful in supporting cancer patients, increasing their quality of life and ability to withstand the damaging effects of cancer.

Acupuncture is not a panacea. The efficacy of acupuncture is different for each individual. There are three major factors that come into play. The individual’s specific healing potential, the specific medical condition, and the combined effect of the individual’s genetic makeup, their lifestyle, and their age.

What our clients say

Where to begin… let us first thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us back our loving and adorable Violet Rose. As you may recall, upon our first visit to your clinic, you were advised how Violet was reacting to a tail infection which she contracted some 4-5 mos. prior. We were at our wits end because she was constantly chasing her tail, trying to bite at the infection site, and just wouldn’t let it heal on its own. Our next agonizing decision was to amputate part of the tail, so as to rid her of the infection and hopefully keep her from being able to reach the tail. Still, she was nervous and upset at the pain, and continually went in circles, and tried to bite at it. Everything made her nervous, loud noises, the other dogs barking, etc. And so it went, one vicious cycle after another.

Then we found your Clinic ad in the telephone book, for Pain Management and Behavioral Consults, we decided to try it. That’s when we made the appointment to come in, as it was our last resort before putting her down. Your recommendation of Eastern Medicine, i.e. acupuncture and herbal treatment, made us both somewhat hesitant, but at that point were willing to try anything.

After her first treatment we noticed an obvious difference in her demeanor. After three treatments, between the acupuncture and herbal medications, we were amazed that she was not as nervous, rarely chased her tail, and was overall more calm. After the fifth treatment, she literally became a whole different dog. She didn’t bother her tail, she didn’t let things bother her, retreating to her bedwhen the other dogs got in trouble, or loud noises occurred.

We want to thank you for convincing us that this form of treatment was worth a try, as it has made a world of difference in our dog. We actually thought we were going to lose her, but instead we have a dog that now loves life, runs and plays like a puppy, and just generally feels “wonderful”. Her eyes show it, and she as much as thanks us every day.
Our sincere thanks again for all your help…Jack and Linda Becker and “Violet Rose”
